Bio

Pat Harris is a Regional Director – Marketing for the AFL-CIO Housing Investment Trust, where he is responsible for serving investors and creating new opportunities for fund growth. He has been in the financial industry for over 25 years. Prior to his work at HIT, Pat spent over two decades raising capital at PMA Asset Management, BMO Harris Bank, and RBC Global Asset Management.

He is currently a member of the Government Finance Officers Association’s (GFOA) Committee on Treasury and Investment Management, and he has served on the Government Investment Officers Association’s (GIOA) Socially Responsible Investing Committee.

Pat has a long history of serving the community, most recently serving twelve years on the Saint Paul City Council.  He founded Serving Our Troops, a nationally recognized, all-volunteer effort which has completed sixteen projects to provide “dinner with the family” for National Guard Members and families, serving over 145,000 steaks since 2004.

Pat earned a BA from Marquette University and an MBA from the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management.
