Rosa E. Moreno serves as Managing Director- Institutional for the HIT. She is responsible for institutional business development and strategy to DB/DC plans nationwide. She will also raise capital for the HIT Daily Valued Fund (HIT-DVF), a core fixed-income fund for defined contribution plan participants.
Prior to joining the HIT, Ms. Moreno was Vice President in the Marketing and Client Service Division for Progress Investment Management in San Francisco, CA where she was responsible for global institutional sales to public plans, Taft Hartley and E/F. Ms. Moreno’s finance career started in Goldman Sachs’ Fixed Income Research department where her research contributed to the issuance of Mexican Brady Bonds. She then worked as an investment banker for Citigroup’s Loan Syndications division and Merrill Lynch’s equity capital markets division contributing to over $70 billion in issuances. She quarterbacked Utendahl Capital Partners’ entry into the Transition Management business and their role in Google’s $1.4 Billion IPO. Ms. Moreno has her Series 63 and Series 7 (inactive).
Ms. Moreno earned her masters degrees from the London School of Economics (Msc) and Johns Hopkins SAIS (MA).
