Preservation

The HIT is working to preserve America’s diminishing affordable housing resources. Through its investments, the HIT helps rebuild deteriorating housing or provides refinancing so properties can maintain their affordable rents. In many cases, the HIT has helped structure financing to provide service-enriched housing for families with limited resources.
