HIT Senior Executive VP Chang Suh Speaks with Chicago City Treasurer During Quarterly Earnings Call

Chicago - On August 29th, AFL-CIO Housing Investment Trust (HIT) Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Portfolio Manager, Chang Suh, was the featured Guest Speaker on the Chicago City Treasurer’s Quarterly Earnings Call. Chang Suh and Chicago City Treasurer Kurt Summers focused on affordable and workforce housing investments.

“The AFL-CIO’s HIT commitment to investing in Chicago’s neighborhoods, particularly our most vulnerable communities, is an admirable effort that has a tremendous impact on our residents and union workers across our City.” Treasurer Summers said. “For over three decades, HIT has been dedicated to investments in our City with over $647 million in 41 projects that have total development investments of more than $1.3 billion in Chicago and has created close to 7,000 jobs. I applaud institutional investors like the AFL-CIO HIT that have made Chicago a target for their investment strategy to serve working families by ensuring all communities have access to sustainable and affordable housing.”
